Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system.
Chiropractors diagnose, treat and prevent mechanical disorders arising from the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.
Dr. Kyle MacIntyre earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University before attaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He also completed the Functional Integrated Acupuncture course through the FIT Institute which focused on pain management and sports injury management techniques.
Dr. Kyle’s passion to become a chiropractor began when chiropractic care helped him overcome several sports injuries in high school. These experiences showed him the importance of chiropractic care in treating musculoskeletal injuries, as well as the impact it can have on improving athletic performance and general well-being. As a runner, triathlete and hockey player, he understands the importance of using chiropractic care to manage and prevent injuries.
Dr. Kyle combines joint manipulation techniques, contemporary medical acupuncture, myofascial release techniques and active rehabilitation; combining them into an individualized care plan for each patient. His commitment is to return every patient back to the activities that they enjoy doing, while promoting a healthy active lifestyle.
